Care is delivered according to the care plan, involving both the resident and next-of-kin wherever possible.
Residential Care
We currently have dedicated residential beds for use by residents who do not require continuous nursing care, but do require assistance with personal, health and social care.
Residential Dementia
We have experience in looking after people living with varying degrees of Dementia, and we are supported by multi-disciplinary teams enabling us to provide continuing care should the Dementia progress. Within its nursing complement, the home employs Registered Mental Health Nurses.
Nursing Care
Nursing care is intended for people who require support with acute and chronic complexities and diagnosed nursing needs. The dedicated nursing team take a person-centered approach to ensure that all the needs and, where possible, the choices of the patient are fully met.
Palliative Care
Our sympathetic and experienced team of nurses and care staff provide palliative and “end-of-life” support. They show empathy and compassion to ensure that individual’s wishes are respected and fulfilled. The home provides training and mentorship in end-of-life palliative care.
Respite Care & Recuperation
These packages of short-term stays are designed to provide a break for people caring for relatives at home. Recuperation is generally for those recovering from an acute condition. Our minimum respite stay is one week.
